<p>I built <em>vlc-android</em> using <code>ndk12</code> and as far as I can see everything seems to be running along smoothly (in the emulator for both <code>x86_64</code> and <code>ARMv7</code>, as well as on my phones).</p>
<p>Out of curiousity:</p>
<ul>
<li>What is it that makes <code>ndk12</code> not suitable for building <em>vlc-android</em>?</li>
<li>Is it recommended to downgrade to <code>ndk11</code> for a (more) stable build?</li>
