I'm kinda confused now.. on the libarchive page (<a href="http://code.google.com/p/libarchive/">http://code.google.com/p/libarchive/</a>) it says:<div>"<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 2px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 2px; ">Reads a variety of formats, including tar, pax, cpio, zip, xar, lha, ar, cab, mtree, and ISO images.</span>"</div>
<div><br></div><div>Yet there is also a open issue to add UDF: <a href="http://code.google.com/p/libarchive/issues/detail?id=27">http://code.google.com/p/libarchive/issues/detail?id=27</a> so i'm not quite getting what is and isn't supported there.</div>
<div><br></div><div>... So, there is ISO support in libarchive already which (yet again) leads me to ask: is libarchive going to be supported in libbluray?</div><div><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Thu, Apr 28, 2011 at 4:04 AM, John Stebbins <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:stebbins@jetheaddev.com">stebbins@jetheaddev.com</a>></span> wrote:<br>

Oke, that is indeed better, but then the question becomes: is libbluray<br>
going to support libarchive :-)<br>
I can imagine that supporting .iso sounds obvious (it does to me) but<br>
supporting .tar or .7z or whatever is a lot less obvious to contain a<br>
blu ray folder. iso files are mostly an image of cd/dvd/blu-ray/...<br>

The better design would be for applications that use libbluray to also use libarchive. That is exactly what I would like to do with HandBrake.<div><div></div><div class="h5"><br>
