[streaming] Re: UDP streaming

Try writing
vlc udp:@:3001

If you want to receive a multicast stream the format is
vlc udp:@multicast_ip_address:port

Take a look to Chapter 4 of VLC Play Howto.

Hi All,

       I am trying to stream through UDP by giving different port 
number.But when I try with the
       client side I am not able to view.
   
        Is it possible to stream with differnt port number for udp.

The follwing commands I am using

    vlc -vvv /root/BIKE.mpeg --sout 
'#standard{access=udp,mux=ts,url=192.168.4.126:3001}'  --Server side

    vlc udp://192.168.4.127:3001 --Client side.
