UDP unreliable, yes. If the switch has to drop the packet I
don't believe it will be retransmitted without application
layer requesting it (which they never do).

Ordering is a different thing though. I think tcp does guarantee
proper ordering but udp does not. In most cases you will get
correct ordering but if a switch decides to reorder it can. I
think.

I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking :)

I'm hoping for answers to the other questions, the reordering
probably isn't the more important of the questions.
