hello,

We are trying to use Videolan between two linux machines(Fedora3( VLC media player 0.8.1 Janus ) & Redhat9.0( videolan-client-0.8.1-1.0.rh9.rf.i386.rpm)) using below commands.

source machine:
vlc -vvv /usr/local/movies/sample_100kbit.mp4 --sout udp@dest_ip:dest_port

destination machine:
vlc -vvv udp:@dest_port

No output is being played on destnation side.

could you help us in sorting out this problem. 
If any one can give us links for any kind of tutorials on videolan, we are very thankful to them
