The internal stream is a PULL stream so I need to connect to the tricaster using an MMS URL. This works from VLC on Windows but not OSX. Also, in OSX the old Windows Media Player plays it correctly, as does the Flip4Mac WMV plug-in for QuickTime.

I really need VLC to work on OSX so I can transcode the stream to MP4 and relay it to an outside service.

I have not tried a nightly build yet, only the latest released version of VLC.

The error I get is...

access_mms: cannot connect to server
main: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `WMV3'.
VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.

The sound then kicks in, so it must be only the Video.

Any ideas?

I will try the nightly build now.
