[vlc-devel] Playlist deadlock

Hi,

[00000222] main playlist error: caught in a callback deadlock?	

This happens when I have an empty playlist open when SAP announcements
arrive. VLC is hung. The deadlock is fully repeatable (0.8.2-svn/linux).	

View->Playlist also gives some gdk-critical errors that could probably
be easily enough avoided:

Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkgc.c: line 689 (gdk_gc_set_clip_rectangle):  
assertion `gc != NULL' failed.
