Yep, HDYC (BT709) isn't exactly UYVY (BT601). And I came to the same conclusion
as you... that is: 16-235 range will be messed up, but better get something than
nothing.

Not immediatly as I laoaned the card to a friend of mine for his video footage
work. But as soon as i get the card back, i can force UYVY fourcc instead
of HDYC one and give you feedback.
