Seriously, coding on interface in VLC doesn't need many many skills.
It just need perseverance and a lot of time to fix ALL the small
annoying bugs and find the right compromises to please most people.

When I started to code on Qt GUI, my knowledge of C/C++ and VLC was way
below standard student coder...

Anyway, I am sure we can find many stuffs to begin with and the new
interface of OSX for 1.1 is a good way to start, IMVVHO.

Best,
  jb
