[vlc-devel] transcoding is slow

    I just use convert/save function in VLC-1.1.9.  I use the default settings in VLC.   
    But I don't understand that when transcoding there is no need to display at the rate of 25 frames/s so the speed of transcoding will always be faster than playing(the computer is good enough).
