Hi all,

I updated the IVTC patch yesterday, and tried posting it onto this list
last night. Did it arrive?

I never got a copy, and the list archive doesn't list that post either
although the archive has updated itself, so I think the message may have
been too large and rejected by the server.

I actually sent two versions. The first one was supposed to have
improved cadence tracking... which in my usual tests seemed definitely
to give better results, so I thought it would need to go into this patch
before the patch is finalized. I elaborated upon this in the message
including the 0002-... patch file. It seems at least the motion
threshold needs to be lower - I'll do some more testing before I decide
whether I wish to include these changes. If I can get it working
properly, it'll solve the most noticeable problem in the original version.

The smaller patch, about 75kB, is functionally the same as my original
IVTC patch, but with the corrections that were discussed on this list.
This is the version that makes the most sense to consider at the moment.
This is also the version on top of which the 0002 patch (containing just
the cadence tracking changes) can later be applied if desired. Sorry
about any confusion.

I tried sending this correct version twice - once as an attachment and
(after it seemed that one didn't get through) once in the message body.
If it has gotten scrubbed, some other delivery method will be needed.

So, did anyone get a copy (or three :) ) or were the messages rejected
as it would seem?

Thanks,

  -J
