Being specific about my requirement was to use the source code of VLC ASF muxer. And use it to make it as Gstreamer plug-in.<BR>
I need to make VLC ASF muxer Gstreamer plugin so as to stream the Audio/Video files in ASF format to the Client windows media player.<BR>

Is that possible if i use VLC ASF muxer.Truly speaking i hav very less time for implementation. So i jst wanted 2 know the complexities.<BR>
So that i decide a baseline if its feasible to use VLC ASF muxer.<BR>

It is own module which when compiled should become VLC compatible libmux_asf_plugin.dll (Win) or libmux_asf_plugin.so (Linux) or similar to your system dynamic library. But if you are looking generíc ASF muxer, there might better options but I haven't found any others because open source people usually don't want to support Microsoft stuff (and I assume you need sources).<BR>
