Did you try a msys console ? Last time I tried, vlc -vvv directly display vlc<br>
logs in it (not sure if it is early enought, but seems so).<br>

--</font></blockquote></div><br>Actually i am building on linux with mingw so there is no msys environment here. I'll have that in mind though.<br><br>Also the other issue (with printf) is solved after a mingw runtime update to 3.15 . The appropriate dependency check was commited.<br>
