Hi all,<br><br>My name is Zhigang Wang. I've been accepted to work on this year's Google Summer of Code for VLC project. My Mentor is Remi Denis-Courmont.<br><br>The project is about to implement the RTMP Streaming function for VLC media player. It includes RTMP input and output functions (Fix bugs in RTMP input module and total rewrite the RTMP output module). I will also try to make VLC stream FLV over HTTP work.<br>
<br>Adobe is about, but not yet to open RTMP protocol in the first half of this year (<a href="http://www.adobe.com/devnet/rtmp/">http://www.adobe.com/devnet/rtmp/</a>). I will reference to Gnash project(<a href="http://www.gnashdev.org/">http://www.gnashdev.org/</a>) and Red5(<a href="http://www.red5.org/">http://www.red5.org/</a>) for my implement first.<br>
