i try to compile vlc-1.0.3 but get below error<BR><SPAN lang=EN>

<FONT color=#000000>and vlc_threads.h contains at this line 241 below line</FONT><BR>
<FONT color=#76923c>typedef pthread_spinlock_t vlc_spinlock_t</FONT><BR>
Is there any work around to fix above error!<BR>
