Hi!<br>
<br>
May be my question is stupid but as a beginner I don't know if it's possible or not.<br>
<br>
I will shoot a film from a car (the front view).<br>
I have to record the car position and car speed linked to the video timestamp.<br>
Then, I would like to replay the video according to a new speed (like a simulator).<br>
It means that I would like to easily control the video speed with the VLC viewer.<br>
Could it be possible ?<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>With VLC you can control playback speed via the 1.00x part of GUI. (or via rc interface, or via --rate= command-line parameter)</div><div> </div></div></div></blockquote>Can i control the rate precisely under 1.00 (.3 .678 ...) and change it i real time ( every 100 ms) ?<div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br><blockquote type="cite"><div><div class="gmail_quote"><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">
<br>
In addition, I ask question to myself : do I need to shoot the film with a Phantom camera (HD + high fps) ? or simply using a fullhd video cam ?<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Depends about what you want. Usually if you just make playback faster, you don't need high FPS, but if you want to slow down stuff and keep smooth motion, then you will benefit from hight FPS.</div>
<div> </div></div></div></blockquote>Thats really what i want go do ?</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Gilles</div><div><br><blockquote type="cite"><div><div class="gmail_quote"><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">

Thank you for your answers!<br>
And whish you an happy new year !<br>
