<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;font-size:12pt"><div>I have one project following VLC-1.1.x. I found at least two problems in VLC 1.1.x.</div><div>1、It can't handle timecodes of WMV video correctly. When I drag time progress bar to 9s, it always starts playing from 0s. When I drag time progress bar to 15s, it always starts playing from 10s I test the video using ffplay, it has the same problem. Maybe it's the problem in ffmpeg. I have tested using VLC 1.2 and VLC 1.3.0-git, they all have the same problem.</div><div>2、VLC-1.1.x can read out the total length (in seconds) of TS MPEG2 video. But playing is OK. I test it using VLC-1.3.0-git, the new version has solved the problem.</div><div> So I have two questions:</div><div>1、Will VLC-1.1.x continue to solve the bugs such as aboving
lists?</div><div>2、What's the difference between VLC-1.2(twoflower) and VLC-1.3(rincewind)? If I want to upgrage VLC-1.1.x to new version, which version should I choose?</div><div><br></div></div></body></html>
