It will deliver data in order to the downstream VLC code (which never gets to see RTP sequence numbers - or any other RTP header, at all). If you have questions about the LIVE555 code, independent of VLC, then you should use our "openRTSP" (or "testRTSPClient") console applications for testing - not VLC.
