<div>When I ran "configure" script, I noticed the following warning:</div>

<div>configure: WARNING: Library samplerate needed for samplerate was not found<br><br>
</div>
<div>VLC seems to build fine despite
this warning. However, I am wondering if I should have installed this
library. What is the consequence of not having this library?</div>
