<font face="Default Sans Serif,Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">I had an album open in VLC media player 2.0.3 on Windows, and noticed that there was no good way to see the duration of the playlist that is currently open.  It would be nice if there was a small grey bar that showed the number of songs in the current playlist, as well as the total duration.  I could see this fitting in well at the bottom of the playlist window, just above the seek bar.</font></blockquote>
<div><br></div><div>Problem comes from calculating the time. E.g. some streams won't end at all, with some streams the duration changes, some files have broken timecodes and so on. Also this would require preparsing of each playlist item to work, and that isn't nice when you add thousands of files to your playlist. </div>
