<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>I've been struggling with this for a while, and I've exhausted Google's vast knowledge, so I was wondering if someone could shed some light on this issue for me.</div><div>
<br></div><div>I'm involved in a project where it's necessary to run 24 instances of VLC, each capturing from one single channel of audio (selected from a 64-channel interface), and broadcast this as an RTP stream. This works fine on Linux, because ALSA does the heavy lifting when it comes to channel routing. However, I can't work out how to instruct the qtsound module which channel it should be capturing on, and a quick look through the source code suggests that perhaps there isn't an easy way to do this at all. Is there a better way to capture audio from a sound card on Mac, or if not, could anyone suggest another way to ensure that I can select a particular channel to capture using qtsound?</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thanks a lot for your time!</div><div><br></div><div>James</div></div>
