<div>Hey everyone,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>first of all: Thanks to all the people involved in the VLC project! In my opinion VLC is not only the best media player, but also one of the best open-source projects out there!</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Recently I found out that VLC is even able to play youtube videos, what a nifty little feature!</div>
<div>Unfortunately, I have some problems with it. My internet connection is slow, so I like to pause and buffer the video before starting to watch it. When I watch a video on youtube.com, it will only buffer a minute or so. In VLC it's even worse, because when I pause the video for 5 minutes and then start watching it, it will completely shutdown the stream after a few seconds so that I have to open (and buffer) it again. :(</div>
<div>I know I can save a youtube video with VLC on my hdd, but I normally only watch it once and then I'd have to delete it.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Isn't it possible to buffer the whole video in VLC (no matter if it was "paused" or not) and let the user skip to whatever scene he wants (and back!) without having VLC buffer certain parts of the video again and again? That would be awesome!</div>
<div>People with a slow internet connection (like me) would probably be eternally grateful if you implemented that feature!</div>
<div><br/>
Keep up the good work!</div>
<div>best regards<br/>
Marian</div>
