<p>I must admit that I have considered doing things from scratch, but given that I am yet not super confident with the matroska format (and libebml + libmatroska) this seems like a dangerous task.</p>
<p>Though I have spent a lot of time with the documentation of the three, so I it just might work (at least with some input from someone more experienced).</p>
<p>Upcoming commits changes more than these initial patches, but the module will probably remain–kind of–the way it is; with some tweaks.</p>
