<p>Could you elaborate on how this patch is affecting (worsening) the discontinuity properties of the module in question? As far as I can tell the properties remains the same as prior to changes proposed.</p>
<p>Fixing problems related to discontinuity is not mutually exclusive with this patch; or am I missing something?</p>
