I stopped reading at the diffstat. I know the code in question (well, I wrote it) and the protocols. What I would call a proper implementation of PUT/POST client side, that I would have dared to propose for the associated bounty, cannot conceivably (to me) fit in 50 lines of code - even without documentation nor test cases.<br>

A quick and dirty hack might very well be possible. But I don't want to review and potentially have to fix/extend it later, on my free time. Sorry.<br>
