<html><head></head><body>Hi,<br><br>There are 2 distinct problems here:<br><br>1) GL drivers don't handle the case that the window is destroyed behind their back<br>Mesa GL locks up. NVIDIA GL crashes/aborts. This is a well-known limitation that we've been seeing with the XCB window provider for a decade. I don't think it's in scope of 3.x-stable to address.<br><br>I don't even know if it's an actual bug in the GL drivers, in the sense that I don't know what the GL specifications require.<br><br>2) The Qt GUI destroys the video window before WindowClose(), or at least it seems to (I cannot explain the symptoms in any other way). This seems like a new problem.
