<html><body><div style="font-family: 'verdana'; font-size: 12px; color: #000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">Dear VLC-team,</span></div>
<div style="font-family: 'verdana'; font-size: 12px; color: #000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;"> </span></div>
<div style="font-family: 'verdana'; font-size: 12px; color: #000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">updating on macOS Tahoe 26.2, VLC player is immediately crashing every time I try to open a Midi-File .mid. My system is a basic Mac Pro 2019 with Intel CPU.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: 'verdana'; font-size: 12px; color: #000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">This behaviour is the same in every version of VLC player I tested, also the newest version of VLC player 3.0.23. I chose a soundfont .sf2 (AUMidi), which worked well with Midi-Files before macOS Tahoe update. but also other .sf2 lead to the same crash of VLC player.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: 'verdana'; font-size: 12px; color: #000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">So I hope you can figure out a solution for my problem under macOS Tahoe and make Midi-Files play again in VLC player.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: 'verdana'; font-size: 12px; color: #000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">It would be perfect, if you would also implement using FluidSynth in a newer version again.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: 'verdana'; font-size: 12px; color: #000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">Thanks for you support,</span></div>
<div style="font-family: 'verdana'; font-size: 12px; color: #000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">best greetings from Germany,</span></div>
