Subtitles cause segfault

Even if you are not using hardware overlay, you can see dramatic differences 
in performance depending on the graphics card you've got.

Some graphics card don't handle hardware rescaling of frame buffers (my riva 
TNT doesn't) and thus if the video is displayed at a different size than it 
is decoded, all the resizing operation (with interpolation...) will be done 
in software by the drivers (X or directX ...).
As you can guess, this resizing is very processor demanding.

So a good graphics card will always help.
