[vlc] MPEG-4 streaming issues with CVS VLC

Hi,

I'm having problems streaming MPEG-4 from vlc (as server) to vlc (as 
client). The client end reports that it can't understand the elementary 
stream.

main input debug: ES 42 has unknown type
main input debug: ES 44 has unknown type

This issue occurs when streaming pre-encoded MPEG-4 media and also when 
transcoding any other media type to MPEG-4.

Is this is known issue? Or am I doing something dumb (again)?

The vlc client and server can both play the MPEG-4 media locally without 
a problem.

Any help will be greatfully received.
