[vlc] Compile problem - solaris 8 - vlc-0.7.0

Hi

I am trying to compile vlc on a solaris 8 (sparc) system. Older version 
have compiled just fine but this time I have having problems.

Can anyone suggest what I should look for based on the error messages below?
