[vlc] help me out....!

hi ...

i am doing a project ri8 now ,where my need is , my code has to connect to a
transcoder(existing vlc,heard it acts like a transcoder too)...

and then i input it with details like aspect ratio,bit rate ,file name on
which this transcoding has to take place....

that is my code should be able to control the player

please help me out...
