(VIA C3 1GHz, RH9 2.4.20-19.9 kernel), I am now trying to see how it

ok with xawtv, so I am confident that the hardware is functional.</FONT></DIV>

composite video input of the WinTV board (the video source is an external video
camera) on the local display. I am using the standard RH9 Gnome
desktop.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Per Benjamin Pracht's instructions (thanks, Ben) I
opened a terminal window and entered:</FONT></DIV>

appeared, reporting stream:/dev/video0 as the input_source (I presume), but no
display window appears.</FONT></DIV>
