<BR><FONT FACE="Times New Roman Baltic">After some trouble I got the ivtv drivers installed on Red Hat 9 (it is the latest available on their homepage). But now I have two problems:</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman Baltic">1. When I try to run vlc and use one of them as source, I get the following logs for video0 and video1 devices and v4l errors in it.</FONT></P>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial Baltic">2. Second problem is somewhat the same as with video0 device. When I use test_ioctl (utilities that came with the ivtv) I get I/O error when trying two capture directly to file from video0 device. But capturing with video1 device works. Is it ivtv drivers thing or something else?</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial Baltic">Or do I somehow have to recompile v4l? If so then how? I am new to linux.</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial Baltic">Has anyone successfully used Hauppage, Red Hat 9 and ivtv together? I would really appreciate somekind of step-by-step instructions.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial Baltic">I installed things in following order: 1. vlc 2. ivtv drivers 3. ivtv utils</FONT>
