You should have the possibility to choose "5.1" in the audio menu, audio<br>device item on 5.1 sources.<br><br>However, it seems alsa 5.1 doesn't work properly at least on some<br>setups. We would really appreciate any success/failure report on that

i tried to play a dvd using the command line <br>
vlc --aout alsa dvd://<br>
<br>
and using the rc interface .. i get stereo sound .. i use " adev
6 " to invoke 6 channel and i get the following errors<br>
