<DIV>i am trying to run vlc using the xinit command from shell. (xinit vlc <EM>file_name</EM> -- xorg ... ). my problem is that when vlc starts running i got no keyboard control (even the leds are off), and only the mouse operates. </DIV>
<DIV>a wierd thing, is that if i hit the '2' key the connection to xserver is lost and vlc stops running. why only this key is functioning?</DIV>
