Hi.<br><br>I just downloaded the newest version of VLCplayer. I think it has the volume normalizer always on (I can head the sounds boosted and when a loud sound comes up everything fades down). Installing an older versio 0.8.6i fixes this. And yes I have checked the settings that the normalizer plugin is disabled (and everything else referring to "normalizing").<br>
