<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">Hi VLC<br><br>I have a copy of the VLC media player installed on my Xp partition, v0.8.6c. It works fine. I use it to play .flv files and to stream from DVD and mms:<br><br>The media players distributed with my SuSE 10.2, Kaffeine, Totem and Xine are real dogs.<br><br>It dawned on me VLC would be great on my Linux partition, but I discovered with dismay you distribute the program as a Yast procedure for 10.3, and 11.1.<br><br>I do not want to upgrade my SuSE installation just to install your program.<br><br>Don't you have something in a compressed archive I can simply decompress to a directory on my desktop ard run from there?<br><br>Thanks. Keep up the good work.<br><br>Joe Schaffner<br>Yiwu, China<br></td></tr></table><br>
