I am running an intel based imac on OX 10.5.7 with the latest version of firefox.<BR>

<BR>

I have installed vlc and it appears in the list of plugins on “about:plugins” on firefox. <BR>

<BR>

My website requires me to preview HDV video clips on-line but when I click on the relevant file (both with and without a .mov extension), it does not play and I get the message “unkown plugin required” and firefox does not direct me to any plugin.<BR>

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?<BR>
