To the VideoLAN Team:

First off, a huge congratulations on VLC 1.0's HUGE success, followed closely by 1.0.1. I actually posted a bulletin on myspace with the subject entitled "The closest thing to the second coming of Jesus I will ever live to see" following it was the announcement that VLC 1.0 was released, giving my own details about your incredible product, CNET's review and the publisher's description. Everytime I reinstall an OS, VLC is the first thing I download.

Now to the matter at hand. I believe about the time that VLC 0.9.2 was released was when the BETA version of Microsoft Windows 7 was released to selective Microsoft Beta Program testers. I noticed when VLC was in full screen mode and the toobar was clicked, the Windows Taskbar appeared on top of the player. In order to rid the tool bar, the player must be clicked or the video on the taskbar must be selected. This is not really a very big problem, merely a minor annoyance, however I was unsure if you all were aware of the issue.

Another thing I would like to suggest: a complete media center, much like that of Windows Media Center, only developed by VideoLAN (which would make it much better and more appealing). Just thought I would suggest it.

At any rate, keep up the good work. I'll make sure to make a donation!

Sincerely,

Joshua Parnell
