<P><FONT size=2>I just installed v1.0.2 Goldeneye and found that it is possible
at install-time to associate VLC with .BIN files. To disable that association I
opened the file associations setting (tools, preferences, interface, association
setup) and found the .BIN entry isn't there.</FONT></P><FONT size=2>

<P><FONT face=Courier>So the only way to disable the .BIN association is to
uninstall VLC, then re-install it and at install time disable the .BIN file
association.</FONT></P>
