Hello,

a lot of people use the professional, digital DVB-x
Receivers of Technisat. The models are called HD K2 and HD S2.

The used video format (when movie is non-hd) of these two
products seem to be exactly the same.

In this moment, it’s not possible to open this files
with the newest vlc media player version (1.0.3).

If you try to open one of this TS files, it doesn’t do
anything or it open the error window with the message: the file could not
been opened

It’s not a problem with playing the elementary
streams, because when I multiplex that file, player is able to open and play
these inhearted m2v, mp2 and ac3 streams. The problem seems to be, that that TS
headers are not supported yet.

All other video files I ever wanted to watch were played
nicely by vlc media player.

If you improve and extend that TS format support, a
lot of users will be happy about it. I uploaded a short example to your ftp
server streams.videolan.org/upload/uploads with the name tstechnisat.TS
and this mail in TXT format.

If you are interessted, I can send you more and longer video
examples (if you want also in that Technisat HD format).

You can reach me per e-mail: ano-nym-mail-@-arc-or.de. Remove the
five „-“ in the mail adress. I will be happy about an answer.

I check my mails at least one time per day.

Thank you for your great project,
