<DIV><FONT size=4>AVL plays a .avi file fine both video & audio on my w2k
o.s. computer.</FONT></DIV>

work/play/upload to AutoMovieCreator <A

<DIV><FONT size=4>When attempting to add that .avi file to that program I get
the message: "A video codec required to play or convert this file is
missing. Try loading the file into the Windows Media Player, which may be able
to automatically download and install the necessary codec."</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>Windows Media Player will play only the audio and doesn't do
anything else.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>So I'm having fits with codecs and after installing

<DIV><FONT size=4>mcmjpg32.dll</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>auto movie creator still gives the same message.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>Their support says "convert the file".</FONT></DIV>
