<font face="Century">I had to download a Blu-ray DVD player update for

my Sony TV (KDL32EX40B) and received it as a VLC.bin file, which is not

compatible when attempting to burn a CD-R for running the update in the

player.<br>

My system is Windows 7 (32-bit). I attempted several downloads, but

each time they came thru as a VLC.bin file, so drag and burn was not

possible.<br>

Why does the download go straight to VLC? It should go into my Windows

Explorer Library?  I checked my defaults and found nothing that I could

change.  <br>

I'm using VLC to bring in MP3 supported radio stations, yet have not

assigned any other defaults to VLC. Attempting to "open" the file with

anything other than VLC has failed.<br>
