This is not expected to work with your ISP. Only with the French ISP Free.<br><br>You ISP might provides streaming (or not). That will be a different URL.<br>Vlc in fedora is compiled with networking. But you need to verify your host configuration and eventually add an entry for your host in /etc/hosts if not done already.<br>

Ditto with Amarok.<br>

<br>
</font></font>
<hr size="2" width="100%"><br>
You can simply try using this URL as an alternative
solution:<br>
<br>
<a href="http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u" target="_blank">http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u</a><br>
<br>
<hr size="2" width="100%"><br>
and the original OP seeking an answer claims that that
worked.<br>
<br>
Well, for me, it does not work at all.<br>
What I get from the above URL is an FM station, not sure
which, and an error banner stating:<br>
<br>
<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px;margin-right:0px;text-indent:0px"><span style="color:#ff0000">Your input can't be opened:</span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px;margin-right:0px;text-indent:0px"><span>VLC is unable to open the MRL '<a href="http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u" target="_blank">http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u</a>'.
Check the log for details.</span></p>
<br>
I have no idea where the log is, as I cannot find it in
~/.vlc or in ~/.vlc/cache<br>
nor is there a log in /var/log for vlc.<br>
