                      given) just gave me squares instead of letters. </font></span></p>

    I don't know about ipad, but it appears that VLC expects some fonts
    to be present, those are missing that's why you see those blocks.<br>
    <br>
    You say you never had issues with external Greek subtitles before?<br>
