1 week from now, I will hardcode the ratecontrol equation and remove x264_param_t.rc.psz_rc_eq AFAIK, no one has ever come up with a legitimate reason to change the option, and the code will be simpler without it. Last time I removed something from x264.h, people complained that their apps broke without warning. So this is your warning. --Loren Merritt
