Hi,<br>I am looking at using x264 for realtime streaming (video conferencing), through gstreamer. One problem which i am facing is that there is a delay of 3 seconds in encoding. However, when I use a older version of x264 like say 0.55(way back, 2007 code :) ), no delay is seen. <br>

1) Could someone please help me in understanding why there is such a huge delay? <br>2) What options should I be using to get realtime video streaming, without huge delay?<br>3) Are there any buffering that causes this delay?<br>
