<div dir="ltr"><div><div>I'm looking applications which use H.264 VUI parameter "chroma_loc_info_present_flag".<br>This VUI parameter talks about chroma subsampling location in in video preprocessor block (Yuv 444 -> yuv 420).<br>
<br>This VUI parameter if conveyed to post processor block after decoder,will aid in upsampling of decoded yuv (from yuv 420 to yuv444 possibly RGB then)<br><br><br>X264 honors this flag while encoding.<br><br>Did anybody come across any applications/media players/post processing libraries which use this VUI parameter when doing upsampling <br>
