Though there are clearly a lot of people looking for a solution. Therefore I was wondering if we could find another solution, where the cmake build is not part of the repository but resides as a unoffical project which is promoted in the documentation / website? I sent some patches to fix issues with the current custom build system<br>
some time ago, they were all rejected for, uhm, reasons that sounded<br>
pretty unconvincing to me. Good luck trying to replace the build system<br>
entirely (not that I consider cmake a good idea)...<br>
