<div dir="ltr"><div>Something in your build chain is broken or out of date or picking a file already installed on the system somewhere, since nothing (except example.c) uses x264.h anymore. It might be simplest to just wipe out the x264 folder and rebuild it directly from git.</div><div><br></div><div>

the latest snapshot from the repo tagged 20190331-2245. Compiling on
RHEL 7.5 and I receive link errors about multiple definitions for
x264_encoder_close and all of the other api calls. Seems they are
defined in api.c and in x264.h.
I have configured with –enable-static –enable-pic. </p>
